The TN-4D-SE uses a sleek, brushless DC motor that provides crystal-clear speed accuracy, governed by a computer-controlled feedback circuit, achieving low levels of wow and flutter for a direct-drive turntable, especially one with such a sleek, low-profile design.
Razor-sharp, pivoting tonearms
In collaboration with SAEC Corporation, a world-renowned manufacturer of high-end tonearms, the TN-4D-SE tonearm is equipped with a knife-edge pivot point bearing. Unlike conventional bearing tonearms, this tonearm's subtle vertical movements contribute to a more dynamic sound with excellent resolution. The S-shaped tonearm features a universal headshell mount for quick and easy cartridge/headshell replacement and supports a wide range of cartridge weights (from 14 to 23 g).
Precision anti-skating and needle pressure adjustment
As expected, the tonearm is equipped with a counterweight for precise adjustment of the needle pressure and an anti-skating mechanism.

Built-in PHONO EQ amplifier for MM cartridges
The TN-4D-SE features a built-in PHONO EQ amplifier, allowing you to connect the turntable directly to the line-level inputs of your existing hi-fi system. The operational amplifier utilizes the NJM8080 IC from New Japan Radio Corporation, which raises the level of the tiny signals received via the cartridge to LINE level without any loss of quality.

The low-inertia die-cast aluminum turntable, in combination with the newly developed motor, contributes to better speed stability.
Feet with excellent shock absorption
The feet consist of a milled aluminum shell with a rubber pad, mounted on the high-density MDF base. Thanks to their excellent shock absorption properties, the TN-4D-SE is highly resistant to acoustic feedback.
