Remote issues with Apple TV:
There's only one code for the Apple TV, so it might be missed during the SimpleSet process. Try again by holding down the STREAMER POWER and HOME buttons until the red LED flashes twice. Now release them and hold down the TV POWER button until you see a red flash. Now release the TV's power button; the menu ring will flash green twice, and the remote should now operate your Apple TV.
To enable/disable the backlight of the Streamer remote:
Press and hold the TV POWER button and the PLAY ICON (YouTube app shortcut) until the menu ring flashes green four times. To reactivate, repeat this process and the LED will flash green twice.
