The maximum native resolution of the PS2 is analog 480i or 480p depending on the cable used, which means the adapter will not magically transform your games into 720p or 1080p. This converter converts the YPbPr video signal to an HDMI signal. *If the connected monitor does not have audio output, please use the auxiliary 3.5mm audio jack to connect a speaker or headphone. *The monitor resolution setting should be the same as the PS2 resolution or set as Auto.
