Details: The JBL 29AV-1 professional control system offers enhanced voice control for extremely flat, high-fidelity performance, extended bandwidth, and well-controlled, defined coverage from a compact speaker. The rotatable high-frequency horn allows the speaker to be used in either vertical or horizontal orientation. Consistent coverage ensures excellent sonic character throughout the listening area. Moderate magnetic shielding allows the speaker to be used up to 230 mm (9") from video monitors. The high-quality line distribution transformer, designed for minimal insertion loss and reduced saturation, enables the use of distributed speaker lines of 70 V or 100 V. In the bypass position, the 8 Ω impedance allows the use of multiple speakers on one speaker line. The included InvisiBall mounting method is simple to install, easily aims, and offers a high level of theft deterrence. InvisiBall allows for up to 41° of horizontal off-axis rotation and up to 36° (horn end facing in) or 23° (woofer end facing in) vertical rotation. Mounting points for the optional MTC-29UB U-bracket enable compact installation.
