Get more power from your audio system with the ZEN CAN Signature HFM. Most audio sources, such as your smartphone, computer, tablet, or digital audio player, don't provide enough power to drive the headphone drivers and produce the sounds they're capable of. The Zen CAN Signature CAN delivers up to 1890 mW of power with four adjustable gain settings to perfectly match your equipment. It features discrete Class-A circuitry, a fully balanced dual-mono amplifier design, and an astonishingly low noise floor of 122 dB. Use the standard 6.3 mm output for unbalanced TRS connections, or take advantage of our balanced topology with the 4.4 mm TRRS output. Connect up to three different analog sources via an unbalanced 3.5 mm line input, a left and right RCA channel, and a balanced 4.4 mm input. You can also use it as a preamplifier with precise analog volume control by connecting a power amplifier or active studio monitors to the balanced 4.4 mm line output. You can further customize your listening experience with these selectable analog features: xSpace – corrects low frequencies for a more natural sound, and HD6XX – a switchable EQ circuit specifically designed to bring out the best in the HD 6XX. This circuit, called ActivEQ, calibrates the amplifier signal to complement the frequency response characteristics of the HIFIMAN headphones, tailoring their performance to the headphones like a tailor-made suit.
Instructions for use
1. Connect the ZEN CAN Signature HFM to a power source using the included iPower2 power adapter. 2. Connect your audio source (e.g., smartphone, computer, digital audio player) to one of the three available inputs (3.5 mm line output, left and right RCA jacks, or balanced 4.4 mm Pentaconn connector). 3. Connect your headphones to the 4.4 mm headphone output or the 6.3 mm headphone output. 4. Adjust the volume and settings of the ZEN CAN Signature HFM to optimize your listening experience. 5.
