By default, the caller's number is displayed on your Gigaset phone's display. You don't need to make any additional settings on your Gigaset phone. However, if the caller's number isn't displayed, it may be due to the following reasons:
- You haven't ordered or registered CID with your network provider. - Your phone is connected via a PBX that doesn't transmit all the information.
Is your phone connected via a PBX/gateway?
You can determine this by looking for an additional device connected between your phone and the home connection, such as a PBX, gateway, etc. In most cases, simply resetting this device can resolve the situation:
- Briefly unplug your PBX's power cord. - Plug it back in and wait until the device restarts.
