Details: Premium hi-fi systems are purchased for years of enjoyment. Many users are reluctant to part with their devices, even if they no longer offer the latest in high-quality wireless audio streaming.
That's why we developed the M1 Air streaming DAC. A universal module that connects easily to most hi-fi systems and supports 192kHz/24-bit Hi-Res audio files.
The M1 Air features Chromecast, AirPlay 2, Roon, Spotify Connect, and Bluetooth 5.0, allowing you to easily stream music services like Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Qobuz, Airable Internet Radio, or podcasts from a smartphone or other mobile device.
The P9, the top model in the P series, can also be expanded with the M1 AIR module. A special compartment under the keyboard has been designed for this purpose, which is already equipped with a separate audio input (AUX2) and a USB power port.
A new firmware version (MCU 3.19) must be installed on the P9 to be compatible with the M1 Air. To do so, please download the file below and copy it to a completely blank USB stick. Turn on your P9, open the rubber cover, and connect your USB stick to the USB port on your P9. Your P9 should not be playing any music at this point. Your P9 will turn off (without your intervention) and turn back on again, all LEDs on the keyboard will light up again, and your P9 is updated and can be connected to the new Escape Remote app.
