The AH-D7200 are Denon's new reference headphones. They incorporate more than 50 years of experience in headphone development and manufacturing. For five decades, we have been refining increasingly sophisticated-sounding headphones that are characterized by comfortable wear and endless listening pleasure. These premium headphones feature our unique FreeEdge drivers from Japan, which feature precise diaphragm movement for the most accurate reproduction with minimal distortion. The drivers are mounted in vibration-damping resin mounts, which in turn are housed in self-damping walnut housings that bring warmth and life to the sound. A detachable 7N copper cable, custom-made in Japan, ensures the best possible signal transmission. It features a durable metal plug and a copper trim ring. The ear cups are attached to the headband, which is covered in genuine sheepskin leather. The brackets are made of ergonomically shaped aluminum castings. The memory foam ear cushions feature an extremely soft leatherette cover, specially developed for the AH-D7200. Every detail of this uncompromising design is dedicated to sound quality, comfort, and the best listening experience.
