The new GPX2000.5D rounds out the successful Crunch GPX series with a high-quality, all-round 5-channel amplifier. Equipped with a double-layered circuit board, the amplifier delivers an impressive 2,000 watts of maximum power (1,000W RMS), providing enough power to easily drive a complete system consisting of a pair of front and rear speakers and a subwoofer. The highlight: the GPX2000.5 is 1 ohm stable on the mono channel, making it ideal for all common subwoofers.
HYBRID - CLASS A/B & D
The modern hybrid design combines the excellent sound characteristics of a Class A/B amplifier with fast, bipolar transistors for the front and rear channels with those of a highly efficient Class D monoblock for the subchannel. This provides power outputs of up to 125 watts RMS into 2 ohms for the stereo channels, while the implemented, separately controlled Class D monoblock delivers up to 500 watts RMS stable power into 1 ohm. An adjustable bass boost provides extra punch, while a variable subsonic filter protects the low-frequency range from harmful frequencies below the tuning frequency. The GPX wired remote control allows for optimal bass control.
RCA INPUT
With a clever switch, the RCA input can be switched from 2-channel to 4-channel to 5-channel mode. This completely eliminates the need for unsightly Y-RCA cables.
