Longer cable runs or the use of multiple distribution components in series can result in unwanted signal skewing. This means that high frequencies are attenuated more than low frequencies. However, the goal is to achieve the most linear frequency response possible. In such cases, this equalizer provides a frequency response in the frequency range from 47 to 2200 MHz: At 47 MHz, the attenuation is 15 dB, decreasing to 1.5 dB at 2200 MHz. The SZU 8-00 can be used in all satellite systems, even those with terrestrial signals. This equalizer features a DC pass-through. The metal housing is equipped with an F-type socket and an F-type plug. The shielding complies with Class A.
