Corrosion is the silent destroyer – it relentlessly eats away at metal parts and, over time, jeopardizes the functionality of your vehicle or equipment. But there's a simple and effective solution: NHOU® Rust Converter – designed to stop rust and prepare surfaces for further protection.
🔍 What is rust anyway?
Rust – chemically iron oxide – occurs when iron or steel reacts with water and oxygen. The metal becomes porous, loses strength, and in the worst case, can fail completely.
If the rust process is not stopped, it will eat deeper and deeper into the material – the result: expensive repairs or complete replacement.
⚗️ How does a rust converter work?
Rust converters neutralize existing rust on a chemical basis.
An essential active ingredient is tannic acid , which reacts with the iron oxide and converts it into a stable, dark protective layer – so-called tannate .
Often, a polymer is also included that forms a sealing protective layer on the metal and prepares it for subsequent painting or underbody protection treatment.
In short:
A rust converter converts active rust into an inactive, paintable protective film, thus preventing further spread.
